			What are the advantages of PVD coating versus other mass coating processes?
	•		PVD is a dry finishing process and is used to apply metallic and nonmetallic coatings that cannot be applied by barrel electroplating or chemical solution processing.
	•		PVD is used for coating parts that cannot be electroplated, such as water soluble materials or plastic materials.
			What types of coatings are used?
	•		Metallic and semiconductors by DC and pulsed DC (PDC) magnetron sputtering.
	•		Non-metallic or dielectric insulating coatings created PDC reactive sputtering.
			What are small parts?
		•	Mass processing part sizes range from nano particles in powders to objects several millimeters in size.
